Dsalita In the latest installment of the Queensberry show titled “The Magnificent Seven,” Frank Warren has announced that the event will take place at Resorts World Casino in Birmingham on July 20th.
The spotlight for this show will be on rising super bantamweight Liam Davies, who impressed with a two-round victory over Erik Robles Ayala and will now face off against unbeaten Shabaz Masoud. Nathan Heaney and Brad Pauls will also have a rematch of their exciting slugfest, while Solomon Dacres will finally have a chance to fight David Adeleye after the latter’s suspension.
Newly signed Chantelle Cameron will make her promotional debut against Elhem Mekhaled, who put up a good fight against Alycia Baumgardner last year. The card will also feature Ashley Lane defending her British and Commonwealth bantamweight titles and former British welterweight champion Ekow Essuman looking to bounce back from a loss last November.
The lineup will be completed by light heavyweight Ezra Taylor, who will be facing an opponent to be announced.
The event is scheduled to take place in the afternoon slot before the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight. While it may not be as “magnificent” as advertised, it promises to be a decent show.
