Zhilei Zhang delivered a stunning blow to Deontay Wilder, knocking him down in the fifth round and securing a resounding victory for Queensberry over Matchroom in today’s 5v5 event in Riyadh.

The fighters from Queensberry emerged victorious in every single bout, resulting in a flawless 10-0 scoreline in their favor against Matchroom.

In the initial four rounds, Zhang (27-2-1, 22 KO) and Wilder (43-4-1, 42 KO) showed hesitancy, with Wilder attempting to unleash some right-hand punches in the fifth round. However, Zhang landed a powerful right hook on Wilder, causing him to stagger. Seizing the opportunity, “Big Bang” pursued a wobbly Wilder and landed another blow that sent him to the canvas.

Although Wilder managed to get back on his feet, the referee stopped the fight at 1:51 of the fifth round. There are speculations that this may be Wilder’s final bout, especially since it was suggested that he could retire if he faced another defeat.

In other matches on the undercard, Daniel Dubois claimed the interim IBF heavyweight title by defeating Filip Hrgovic in the eighth round due to cuts. Hamzah Sheeraz dominated his middleweight matchup against Austin Williams, securing a victory in the 11th round. Nick Ball became the new WBA featherweight champion by winning a split decision against Raymond Ford. Additionally, Willy Hutchinson achieved a career-best victory against Craig Richards in the light heavyweight division, showcasing a strong start and doing enough to secure the win.
